Sylvain Durocher

President – Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Sylvain remains actively involved in the growth of the company he founded almost 15 years ago: guiding the Vircom leadership team, creating a vision and strategy for the future, meeting with partners and important clients, and troubleshooting organizational growth. Inspired by learning and technology, Sylvain’s objective is to offer our clients ever-improving solutions, all the while nurturing a positive work environment where employees can achieve their full potential. When not engaged in the good fight to protect your email communications, this lover of the great outdoors likes to travel, ski, dance the Rueda, white water kayak, cooking and play board games with friends.

Jean-Marc Robillard

Director, Product Management
As the director of product management, Jean-Marc helps to create a winning product by integrating client needs, market trends, and emerging technologies into the development process. After completing studies in computer science and marketing, Jean-Marc gained considerable expertise working for several large corporations before bringing his talents to Vircom. This pilot in training trusts that working in this stimulating environment will surely help his ideas to take off.

Avi Posesorsky

Director of Worldwide Sales
Avi joined VIRCOM as Director of Worldwide Sales in July 2008. Posesorsky brings more than 19 years in technology sales to his role at Vircom, including global experience in building and managing sales teams with market-leading companies. Posesorsky is responsible for leading the company’s direct and channel sales activities across the globe and driving key growth initiatives in the email security markets.

During his 19 year career in IT, Posesorsky has performed a wide variety of roles from sales to marketing to holding executive positions. Most recently Posesorsky served as senior Director of North America Sales for Oracle Visualization Solutions. Previous positions included National Director of Channel Sales and Business Development at Hitachi Data Systems. He was Executive Vice President at a privately-owned technology company focused on Sales and Marketing.

His career was characterized by a desire to win in the marketplace, building great teams and producing stellar growth in all of the areas he managed. His early career was spent at the ComputerLand/SHL.

Patrick Thibault

Director, Customer Service
A key resource-person in Vircom’s operations, decision-making, and planning strategies, Patrick has a talent for bringing together multi-disciplinary teams that produce results. This natural-born leader and innovator is most valued for his mentorship skills, and for his ability to get others actively involved in projects big and small. It’s quite obvious that Patrick loves his job: when asked about his eventual plans for retirement, he joyfully replies, "What retirement?"

Mike Petsalis

Director, Research and Development
Mike’s role is to build and maintain a top-notch development team capable of producing innovative, high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations. In simpler terms, he makes sure that each team member is performing at levels they never even thought possible! Equipped with a solid understanding of both technical and business issues, Mike is prized for his contributions in both fields of endeavour. We wish Mike much luck in his goal to learn seven languages before the age of 45.

Manon Hélie

Director, Finance and Administration
In addition to generating detailed financial reports that allow our directors to make better business decisions in a timely fashion, Manon also works hard to maintain a quality work environment where all employees can thrive. Backed by 14 years experience in various industries, Manon is prized for her ability to see the big picture — and to explore new possibilities that broaden those horizons even farther. Passionate about music, Manon’s vision includes discovering exciting new soundscapes as well.
