The release of Windows 10 comes with a lot of preloaded apps. Some end-users can do without these default applications while still remaining in the Start menu. Certain apps such as, Calculator, Calendar, Mail, Camera, Maps, Movies & TV, People, Photos, Store, and Weather can only be uninstalled through PowerShell as shown in the example below:
A similar syntax can be applied when installing a package.
Some core applications that cannot be uninstalled from Windows 10 include: Cortana, Edge and Windows Feedback. Other applications can be uninstalled through the START menu similar to Windows 8, simply by right clicking and selecting uninstall from the menu.
