Security Alerts
You can never know where danger lurks! With the Vircom portal, administrators can set Security Alerts to help detect existing or developing security holes and then proactively take action to close them and educate users. Administrators can set alerts for spam waves, possible compromised accounts, incorrect SPF configurations, inadvisable choices of trusted email accounts, inclusion of domains in DNSBL (or RBL) lists and there are many new alerts to come in upcoming versions of the Vircom portal.
Business Alerts
Your customers require a lot of service and attention, everybody knows that! By setting the right Business Alerts, an MSP admin can see what is happening with their customers on the business side. Is the system being used too little, or maybe too much? Is a trial on a new package in modusCloud or Proofpoint Essentials coming to expiration or expired? Such events and many others are opportunities to demonstrate to customers your proactivity and attention to detail. Having a great product is one thing, but covering it with great service and expertise is next level.
Alerts Dashboard
Once your Security and Business Alerts are set up, you benefit from a Dashboard view summarizing the most important alerts and totals. In a single glance an admin knows how modusCloud or Proofpoint Essentials and system users are behaving. Wondering which are the most suspicious compromised accounts? Considering whether someone messed around with the SPF record now leaving the door open for spoofing? The most important and numerous of these will be visible immediately. Admins can also click and drill down to the specific alert and see all the details, directly from the Dashboard view.
